I check for fragrance, especially when the product is for the underarm area.
Can we use it after shaving?
I personally find this point very important.
After shaving, the feel of the skin may be different from the normal routine.
Therefore, instead of applying any new skincare product immediately, first check the instructions of the product.
If the product is not recommended for use on freshly shaved skin, then do not apply it immediately. If I feel that any product feels unusual after applying it, then I discontinue it.
How I add it to my routine
I don’t like complicated body care routines at all, that’s why I follow the simple routine of underarm serum also.
First of all, I clean the underarm area gently, after that I dry the skin properly. Then if the instruction of the serum is to apply on clean dry skin, then I apply it in a small amount.
Is it essential?
No, for me, underarm serum is not a compulsory skincare product. If you use simple deodorant and are comfortable with your existing routine, then it is not necessary to add underarm serum just for the sake of trend.
But if you like to explore body care and want to try any skincare product especially for underarm skincare, then trying underarm serum can be an interesting option.
